Future Arts Center, Dance Studio & Teen Center for NETwork Ministries
How will the building be used?
For ministry with kids, of course! More specifically, the two primary uses will be as an Arts Center and a Teen Center. Within the Arts Center, we plan to have rooms for piano and music lessons, a dance studio, and an art studio. Within the Teen Center, we plan to have learning areas; space for group activities, games, teaching, and worship; a kitchen; tables games; and plenty of space for doing what teens do best: hanging out! We’ll also move most of our offices to this new building, to allow our Kids Club much needed space at our current facilities on Redwood Street, where this program will continue to be centered, along with our community garden.
Where is the building located? Who owns the building?
The building is at 419 Hollywell Avenue, within walking distance of our current facilities and right along the Rail Trail in downtown Chambersburg. NETwork was given a generous lead gift for this project for the purpose of acquiring the building, and we settled in October 2014.
What needs to be renovated? How much will this cost?
The building is in need of significant renovation, as it has no HVAC system, needs plumbing and electrical work, an overhaul of most of the windows and doors, new walls built, exterior work, and numerous other repairs. Estimates from our architects indicate that the cost of renovations will be right at $695,000. We plan to complete the 419 project in 3 phases, with Phase 1 costing $450,000. We are thrilled to have architectural services, construction management, civil engineering, and more being donated to this project! We formally broke ground at the end of August 2015, and construction began in September 2015. We completed Phase 1 in October 2016, and began using the main portion of the building then. We will begin construction on Phase 2 (Music lesson rooms + Art studio) once we have the necessary funds raised for this.
How will the money be raised?
Our board and campaign committee are actively working to raise the needed funds. The campaign’s success depends highly on the extraordinary generosity of our community, so we’d appreciate your help with spreading the word. Please join us in praying that God would provide a way to make this vision a reality!

Campaign supporters have the opportunity to contribute to NETwork in a variety of ways, each offering tax advantages.
Gifts of Cash
An outright gift of cash, for which donors receive an income tax reduction, as allowed by current law. Checks can be made to NETwork Ministries and sent to PO Box 442, Chambersburg, PA 17201. Please write “Capital Campaign” in your memo. Online giving options are also available at PayPal and JustGive.

A gift of stocks or bonds that are readily marketable. Donors may be able to deduct the fair market value of the gift from their declared gross income and avoid any capital gains taxes. Please contact our office for more information about this option.

We’ve had over 370 volunteers involved already, and we'd love to have you join in on the action! If you, your family, friends, co-workers, youth group, Sunday school class, or other group want to volunteer, we have a variety of projects that need to be completed throughout the project.
